ANIMATOR - 3D CHARACTER 

Chakrra is a Production house founded to create entertainment content for young viewers. We are putting together a talented team for our upcoming projects beginning with this pilot! 

We are looking for 3D Character animators to animate non-human anthropomorphic models for an animated mini series . These reels will be developed for distribution on different social media.

For this role, you will need to:

• Able to think in 3D
  
• Able to follow design reference from concept art and other related images accurately and work within the project’s style and theme.
  
• Breathing life  into 3D rigged models
  
• Research visual style, genre, and technologies to produce each individual project
• Identify key scenes and sequences
  
• Transform storyboards into animated sequences
  
• Manage files, animation libraries, and updating procedures documentation
• Integrate sound and sync up dialogues from Voice Over artists

Software and technical skills:

Experience animating in 3D using Maya/Proficiency in Maya is mandatory. 

Other essential skills:

• Ability to visualize 3D iterations of two-dimensional storyboards and artwork
  
• Good instinct for timing, movement, and  editing cuts
• Demonstrate proficiency in technical troubleshooting and meeting aggressive performance    targets 
  
•  Participate in R&D efforts to develop new techniques and improve the art pipeline 
  
• Ensure the 3D models are consistent with the defined visual style for the project. 
• Good problem-solving, communication and team-working skills
• Have a “can do” attitude that is solution-oriented and willing to put in the extra effort required to get projects done on time and executed with the highest level of quality
• Humble enough to be able to take directions and be willing to address constructive feedback
•  Ability to work with a minimum of supervision
•  Ability to function as team leader, if required
•  Ability to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure
• Show respect for the procedures and requirements of a particular studio, production or pipeline
